Ye Old Meatloaf Cipe’
I am completely in love with all “dump” recipes that I can get my hands on. Fried rice, stone soups, and the mother of all American leftover cuisine: Meatloaf. The beauty in using scraps and creating another dinner for you and your loved ones is a recyclable joy that leaves a good feeling on your conscience and wallet. This is a cheap, and flavorful recipe that you can use time and time again. This is my Ye Old Meatloaf Cipe’
Tips:
In most meatloaf recipes they ask to use white vinegar + brown sugar + other seasoning and sauces. I keep things simple and use two types of barbecue sauces: a hickory and a sweet one. Barbecue sauce contains most if not all the ingredients in most meatloaf sauces.
I like to use 1 pound of ground pork and 1 pound of 80 percent lean beef for flavor and contrast.
Mashed potatoes and your favorite greens will be the perfect side dish to this main entree.
